Welllove is a (fictional) skincare brand aimed at encouraging people to embrace their individuality and make a wellness ritual about not only caring for their skin, but for their mind and body too. The company is built on values of mindfulness to help people slow down and create space in their lives for this ritual; empowerment to uplift and bring joy to people through all touchpoints and products; and authenticity to celebrate inclusivity and individuality. Welllove is meant for Gen Z and Millennial women who are digital natives and socially connected; who make intentional purchases; and who seek to incorporate holistic wellness in every area of their life.
I focused on bringing something to life that I wanted to see out in the world - aka a brand that brings emphasis to how powerful repetitious self-care rituals can be in one’s life. I aimed to define visuals that speak to femininity and confidence in an approachable and playful way.
Logo Design
I designed a logo suite that is friendly and soft while still being confident and ownable (due to the customized script). The loopy letterforms and circular badges bring a sense of connection and community while tagline “Together We Glow” speaks to the company values.
Color Palette
This color palette nods to the feminine, confident, and soothing of the brand. Dreamy Blush was brought in to feel feminine and nurturing. Soothing Terracotta and Radiant Tan were brought in for warmth and confidence. Water Droplets was brought in for it’s serene and calm feel.
Packaging Design
Welllove features packaging and shipping materials that are colorful, friendly, and stand out from the crowd on store shelves.
Welllove’s primary marketing touchpoints include organic and paid social and OOH print and digital billboards.
